Horse Riding Centre at Barka

The Horse Riding Centre at Barka is the first of its kind in Oman. This dream project of Oman Equestrian Federation was designed to host international events and is among a few biggest race courses in the region. The development spreading across 2 million Sq. meters includes latest technology in the field. The viewing galleries, grand stands, veterinary clinic, cottages, mosque, stables, horse riding school, accommodation etc are some elements of this grand project.

Horse is a sensitive creature and responsive to human behavior, thus the entire project was designed in observance to this fact. A comprehensive research was carried out to ensure that humans and horses are in safe environment throughout the entire centre.
