Social Responsibility

We recognize the importance of aligning our social responsibilities with our long term business decisions and objectives. The following are some of our initiatives that aimed to benefit the community we serve:

• For close to a decade, MEC has been accepting and training international students under the IAESTE (International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience) program. This has opened doors for the international professionals to get to know about the rich and historical architecture of the Middle East while providing reciprocal opportunity to the Omani students to get trained in some of the European countries.
• Sponsoring and participating in events organized by Universities and professional bodies to promote engineering and cultural activities,
• Representation in related industrial forums to establish Arab specific Standards and Codes for Construction Industry.
• Acted as an industry expert to help the local judiciary in setting aside Contractual conflicts.
